Identity Management System (IDMS)

One of the large broking houses in India was planning to implement a central Identity Management System (IDMS), which will be used to authorise various users to allow or disallow specific functionalities provided by individual applications. Currently, each application is managing authorisations separately, which is causing a lot of problems in managing it across the organisation. The IDMS is supposed to provide a uniform interface to all applications vis-a-vis user-authorisation functions.
